Samantha (she/her) is Executive Director of Inter Pares, and shares the management of Inter Pares’ Burma program. She is also the Chair of the Board of Directors of The Border Consortium, a humanitarian organization that is responding to conflict-inflicted displacement of Burma’s ethnic peoples.
In addition to her program focus on conflict, displacement, and inclusive governance, Samantha is particularly interested in non-hierarchical management and feminist practice. Her publications include co-authoring Does It Work? Feminist analysis and practice at Inter Pares and “Feminist participatory research in a social justice organization.”
Samantha holds bachelors of arts and of social work from McGill University. In her personal life, Samantha is engaged in LGBTQ+ refugee resettlement, and is a parent to two young children.
