{"id":109827,"date":"2024-05-23T18:53:51","date_gmt":"2024-05-23T18:53:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev.interpares.ca\/?p=109827"},"modified":"2026-03-02T15:59:05","modified_gmt":"2026-03-02T15:59:05","slug":"planifier-cest-resister-les-peuples-autochtones-birmans-imaginent-un-avenir-autodetermine","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dev.interpares.ca\/fr\/planifier-cest-resister-les-peuples-autochtones-birmans-imaginent-un-avenir-autodetermine\/","title":{"rendered":"Planifier,\u200a\u200a c\u2019est r\u00e9sister \u2013 Les peuples autochtones birmans imaginent un avenir autod\u00e9termin\u00e9"},"content":{"rendered":"\t\t<div data-elementor-type=\"wp-post\" data-elementor-id=\"109827\" class=\"elementor elementor-109827 elementor-101112\" data-elementor-post-type=\"post\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-0acd9e4 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"0acd9e4\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3fc4557 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"3fc4557\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h3><span style=\"color: #015093;\">Un monde s\u00e9pare la Birmanie et Haida Gwaii, mais ce sont des voisins dans leur lutte pour l\u2019autod\u00e9termination. <\/span><\/h3><p><strong>La connexion a \u00e9t\u00e9 instantan\u00e9e<\/strong> quand des repr\u00e9sentant-e-s autochtones de la Birmanie se sont rendu-e-s en juin 2023 dans les \u00eeles au large de la Colombie-Britannique pour rencontrer des membres du peuple ha\u00efda.<\/p><blockquote><p>\u00ab\u2006Ils affrontent un g\u00e9nocide similaire \u00e0 celui qu\u2019ont v\u00e9cu les ethnies en Birmanie\u2006\u00bb, dit Paul Sein Twa, qui a particip\u00e9 \u00e0 cet \u00e9change d\u2019apprentissage gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l\u2019appui d\u2019Inter\u00a0Pares.\u00a0<\/p><\/blockquote><p>Il\u00a0travaille avec l\u2019organisation ethnique KESAN (R\u00e9seau karen d\u2019action sociale et environnementale),\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/interpares.ca\/fr\/news\/le-parc-de-la-paix-de-la-salween-recoit-le-prix-equateur-2020\">l\u2019un de nos homologues dans le sud-est de la Birmanie<\/a>.<\/p><p>Paul est karen et, comme beaucoup d\u2019ethnies en Birmanie, il utilise indiff\u00e9remment les termes \u00ab\u2006ethnique\u2006\u00bb et \u00ab\u2006autochtone\u2006\u00bb pour se d\u00e9crire.<\/p><blockquote><p>\u00ab\u2006Nous avons eu des exp\u00e9riences similaires pendant la colonisation, notamment l\u2019interdiction des pratiques culturelles et de l\u2019identit\u00e9 autochtone.\u2006\u00bb<\/p><\/blockquote><p>Ils et elles ont parl\u00e9 des obstacles que chaque groupe a d\u00fb surmonter pour faire valoir ses droits sous les pouvoirs coloniaux et des diff\u00e9rentes approches adopt\u00e9es par chacun pour les surmonter.\u00a0<strong>L\u2019activisme de la nation Ha\u00efda sur plusieurs fronts \u2013 cr\u00e9ation d\u2019un mus\u00e9e, cogestion des ressources naturelles, travail sur la souverainet\u00e9 constitutionnelle et juridique \u2013 a inspir\u00e9 Paul pour l\u2019avenir de KESAN.<\/strong><\/p><blockquote><p>\u00ab\u2006L\u2019un des piliers de la nation est la renaissance culturelle.
