Depuis 2017, chaque ann\u00e9e en avril, <strong>ce prix est remis \u00e0 des organisations remarquables au Canada afin de leur rendre hommage<\/strong>.<\/p><p>En 2019, Inter Pares a remis le prix \u00e0 deux organisations exceptionnelles : <strong>le Conseil national autochtone des sages-femmes (NACM)<\/strong>, qui travaille au retour durable de l\u2019accouchement dans les collectivit\u00e9s autochtones, et la Clinique 554, le seul acc\u00e8s non hospitalier \u00e0 des services d\u2019avortement et la seule clinique LGBTIQ2 au Nouveau-Brunswick.<\/p><p>Par cet hommage au NACM, <strong>nous honorons son travail essentiel pour la sant\u00e9 reproductive des femmes inuites, m\u00e9tisses et des Premi\u00e8res nations<\/strong>. Le NACM aide \u00e0 r\u00e9aliser les appels \u00e0 l\u2019action de la Commission de v\u00e9rit\u00e9 et r\u00e9conciliation en vue de reconna\u00eetre la valeur des pratiques de gu\u00e9rison autochtones et d\u2019accro\u00eetre le nombre de professionnels autochtones en sant\u00e9.<\/p><p>Par cette reconnaissance de <strong>la Clinique 554<\/strong>, <strong>nous honorons les services qu\u2019elle offre aux groupes les plus marginalis\u00e9s du Nouveau-Brunswick<\/strong>. Personnes migrantes, sans-papiers, vivant avec une maladie mentale, fuyant la violence conjugale, aux prises avec une d\u00e9pendance, travaillant dans l\u2019industrie du sexe \u2013 la Clinique 554 les soutient toutes.<\/p><p><strong>C\u2019est un honneur pour nous de souligner le travail acharn\u00e9 de ces organisations pour la justice sociale avec le Prix Peter Gillespie<\/strong>.
