Ce festival est l\u2019un des moyens utilis\u00e9s par <a href=\"https:\/\/dev.interpares.ca\/counterpart\/tiniguena\/\">Tiniguena<\/a>, homologue d\u2019Inter Pares, pour <strong>unir \u00e9mancipation culturelle et lutte \u00e9cologique<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p><p>\u00c0 l\u2019heure o\u00f9 les for\u00eats tropicales disparaissent, Tiniguena l<strong>es pr\u00e9serve en appuyant un r\u00e9seau de for\u00eats communautaires prot\u00e9g\u00e9es par la population locale<\/strong>. \u00c0 l\u2019heure o\u00f9 les oc\u00e9ans se vident de leurs poissons, <strong>Tiniguena prot\u00e8ge un site de reproduction crucial en cr\u00e9ant une zone marine prot\u00e9g\u00e9e<\/strong> sous la gestion du peuple bijago.<\/p><p>Augusta Henriques, cofondatrice de Tiniguena, explique le r\u00f4le de l\u2019art dans ce travail :<\/p><blockquote><p>\u00ab C\u2019est par l\u2019art que se communique la culture. L\u2019art transcende toutes les barri\u00e8res. Pendant la lutte d\u2019ind\u00e9pendance de la Guin\u00e9e-Bissau, les slogans et les cris de ralliement venaient des artistes. Ce sont des messagers. Et par l\u2019art, ils transmettent \u00e0 la fois leur vision du monde et de nouveaux paradigmes \u00bb.<\/p><\/blockquote><p>Augusta \u00e9voque une conversation avec son mentor et ami, le c\u00e9l\u00e8bre auteur de P\u00e9dagogie des opprim\u00e9s, Paulo Freire :<\/p><blockquote><p>\u00ab Nous parlions de lib\u00e9rer les \u00e9nergies cr\u00e9atrices du peuple! C\u2019est par l\u2019art et la culture que le peuple peut s\u2019exprimer \u00bb.<\/p><\/blockquote><p>es enseignements ont influenc\u00e9 les premi\u00e8res excursions jeunesse organis\u00e9es par Tiniguena sur le terrain.<\/p><blockquote><p>\u00ab C\u2019\u00e9tait plus que du tourisme \u2013 les jeunes devaient exprimer ce qu\u2019ils avaient vu par des essais, des po\u00e8mes, de la musique, des dessins. L\u2019art est communication et c\u2019est ce qui nous a permis d\u2019unir notre amour de la nature \u00e0 notre amour de la culture \u00bb.<\/p><\/blockquote><p>Pour Augusta, <strong>l\u2019art est aussi un dialogue entre les peuples et les territoires<\/strong>, comme en t\u00e9moigne le projet Kilkidinos tem balur (Ce que nous poss\u00e9dons a de la valeur). Par le travail avec des artistes et l\u2019organisation de festivals, ce projet installe fermement l\u2019identit\u00e9, le savoir local et la biodiversit\u00e9 agricole dans l\u2019opinion publique et, litt\u00e9ralement, dans les assiettes des gens. La demande de produits locaux reste \u00e9lev\u00e9e \u00e0 Bissau, ce qui b\u00e9n\u00e9ficie aux fermiers locaux.<\/p><p>Inter Pares est fi\u00e8re de soutenir Tiniguena et son travail en vue de prot\u00e9ger les d\u00e9licats \u00e9cosyst\u00e8mes de la Guin\u00e9e-Bissau gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la conservation et \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9mancipation
