In the fall of 2024, Inter Pares and allies hosted three dynamic activists from Bangladesh, El Salvador and the Philippines working on sexual and reproductive health and rights.
Sharaban Tohura (Nijera Kori, Bangladesh), Estephanie Brigatay (Likhaan Center for Women’s Health, Philippines) and Wendy Barrera Rivas (La Colectiva Feminista, El Salvador) are accomplished advocates, educators and leaders, all working with Inter Pares counterparts to advance sexual and reproductive health and rights.
Throughout discussions in Ottawa, St. John’s, Halifax, Moncton, Fredericton and Montreal, Sharaban, Estephanie and Wendy connected, shared knowledge and built solidarity with local advocates, academics and practitioners, as well as other interested members of the public.
