In 1975, a small group of people gathered around a kitchen table with a shared goal: to make the world more just and equal—and to do it differently, by building equal partnerships, recognizing shared struggles and acting in solidarity. Today, our dedication to work inter pares, among equals, remains fiercely alive.
The need for structural change is urgent; yet structural change takes time. “Among Equals. And always, together” highlights how our shared commitment to the long-term work of building and sustaining movements for social justice continues to enable livable futures in communities, today.
As we mark 50 years, we look to the future with hope and determination.
