Since its founding, Asociación LAMBDA (or LAMBDA Association) has been fighting for the equality, dignity and participation of LGBTIQ+ persons as central to the fulfillment of human rights and guarantees ensured by the Guatemalan constitution.
LAMBDA has become a national referent for the movement, monitoring anti-LGBTIQ+ violence through their Observatory and providing accompaniment and organizational capacity training to grassroots groups across the Guatemalan territory. Its approach is intersectional, attending to the diversity of the community and each group’s unique demands.
