Meet David
David has a background in environmental science and after teaching science in Nigeria he returned to work in the environmental movement in Toronto. In 1993, David moved to the south of Mexico to work with a Guatemalan NGO assisting groups of refugees to plan their return. In 1997 he moved to northern Guatemala, where he accompanied the newly established cooperatives in their development. On returning to Canada in 2001, David joined Inter Pares as a member of the Latin America team, helping to manage the Colombia bilateral program. In 2007 he switched to the Asia team and currently works with counterparts in Bangladesh, the Philippines and India. David is the chair of Canadians for Tax Fairness.
