
Nikki Richard (she/her) is Co-Manager of the Burma Program at Inter Pares. Her key focus areas are human rights, women’s rights, environmental protection, and Indigenous self-determination.
Nikki has worked with civil society from Burma since 2012. She spent several years working in solidarity with youth advocates from Burma and across the Mekong region on using the power of law, the power of people, and feminist leadership in defense of human rights and the environment. She has also worked in the Philippines and Nepal.
Nikki received her Master’s degree in International Human Rights Law from the University of Essex, and her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Calgary. Nikki is also committed to the mental health and collective care of HRDs.
