Sarah Hedges-Chou is an Ottawa-based activist passionate about reproductive justice and labour rights. She is a founding member of the Ottawa Abortion Doula Collective and longtime volunteer at Planned Parenthood Ottawa.

Mariam, a Tuareg (Indigenous) woman from Timbuktu, Mali, is a trained doctor, activist, and educator. A former president of the United Nation Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues (UNPFII), Mariam is engaged in research and governance within Indigenous-led organizations related to rights, biodiversity, and health.
